Hello, world!

a bit of visual identity

Where am I?

This is the companion blog to my newsletter, After Class.

Who is it for?

Short answer : for you

Short answer 2 : college students in general.

What is this all about?

The aim of both the blog and the newsletter are to give you study tips and career advice.

I try to tell you about stuff I wish I knew when I was a student.

Things that would have made my life easier and more pleasant. Things that would have made the present me way richer. Things that’ll save you time.

That’s really the main point here : I don’t want you to waste time reinventing the wheel.

If some of the stuff I write is obvious to you, that’s great! I wish I were you. Read the rest of the site to see if anything is of value to you.

Who am I?

Or, why should you trust me?

I am a college-educated guy in his 30s, middle class.

I never really enjoyed school. Since I wanted to be a psychiatrist, I forced myself to slog through med school. (I am now a psychiatrist) There, I learnt a thing or two about studying, human nature and life in general (I wanted to end this post on a pompous note).
